STING swimmers and families,

The YMCA Championship meet is Sunday, March 1, at McAuley Aquatics Center at GA Tech. This meet includes swimmers from all the YMCA teams in the Metro Atlanta area. It is a super fun day of great swimming.

To be eligible to swim at the Championship meet each swimmer must meet the following criteria:

• Swimmer has participated in at least 2 regular season meets.
• Swimmer's parent(s) has volunteered for at least 1 regular season meet.

The team has only ONE meet remaining for the regular season in order for swimmers to swim and/or parents to volunteer:

• Saturday, February 21, at our home Alpharetta YMCA

Attached please find a list of all swimmers and if he/she IS/IS NOT eligible for the Championship meet. This list is updated as of the virtual meet held last week for the January 31st swim meet. 

• If your swimmer's name is highlighted in GREEN, he/she is eligible for the Championship meet. 
• If your swimmer's name is highlighted in YELLOW, he/she is not yet eligible for the Championship meet. The swimmer must either participate in the February 21 meet or the parent must volunteer for the February 21 meet. 
• If your swimmer's name is highlighted in RED, he/she is NOT eligible for the Championship meet. The swimmer did not participate in the required 2 regular season meets. 

The hope is this information allows you to plan accordingly for the upcoming meet so your swimmer has the opportunity to swim in the Championship.
