STING swimmers and families,

The MAKE UP swim meet for the January 31st meet that was snowed out is THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6. It will be a "virtual" meet - our swimmers will swim at our pool and the Fowler swimmers will swim at their pool. The times will then be entered into Swimtopia to determine place. Only individual events will race (no relays). Swimmers will race the individual events they were supposed to race for the Jan 31st meet (no changes). 

Please see the details below. There will be 2 sessions depending on which practice group your swimmer is in. 

***Swimmers in AGE GROUP 1 and AGE GROUP 2 practice groups***

• Warm-ups from 4:30-5:00pm.
• Races 5:00pm- 6:00pm.

***Swimmers in SENIOR PREP and SENIOR practice groups***

• Warm-ups 6:00-6:30pm 
• Races 6:30-7:30pm

PLEASE reply to this email by Thursday evening at 6:00pm and indicate if your swimmer will/will not be swimming in the make up meet. Be sure to include your swimmer's name and practice group. This will help in planning for Friday. 

If your swimmer was originally not able to participate in the meet on Saturday, but is able to swim on Friday, please let me know 3-4 individual events he/she would like to swim and he/she is welcome to participate in the meet.

For each session we will need the following volunteers:

• 8 Timers (2 in each lane)
• 2 Bullpen parents - PLEASE only volunteer for this if you are experienced with lining up the swimmers. The bullpen parents will be assigning heats/lanes as the events progress. 
• 1 Starter

If you can volunteer, please sign up with the below SignUp Genius. Volunteers need to arrive and be ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to the meet start time. Make sure to sign up for the correct session based on when your swimmer is participating.

Thank you to all the swimmers and families for being flexible with the meet last weekend and the make up meet. Who could have predicted a meet would be "snowed out" in Georgia?!
