STING swimmers and families,

Save the date! The YMCA Championship swim meet is set for Sunday, March 1, at the McAuley Aquatics Center at GA Tech. I don't have time specifics yet. In years past, swimmers in age groups 10 and younger have swam in the morning session and swimmers in age groups 11 and older have swam in the afternoon session. 

If your swimmer has never swam at the GA Tech pool, it is an AMAZING experience. This is the pool that was used for the 1996 Olympics. It is also considered one of the "fastest" pools in the country. This meet will include swimmers from all the Metro Atlanta YMCA swim teams. 

A couple of reminders:

• Your swimmer's age group is determined based on their age as of September 1, 2025. Even if they have a birthday during the season, their age group will not change. 
• To be eligible to swim in the championship meet, the swimmer MUST have participated in 2 regular season meets and the swimmer's parent MUST have volunteered for 1 regular season meet.
