STING swimmers and families, 

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. It is hard to believe it is back to school time and time to kick off another STING season. 

Coach Juan Carlos and Coach Jeff are both returning to the team and excited for another year with the swimmers. Below is the practice schedule. The practice group names have changed from last season to hopefully make it less confusing:

• Age Group 1: Tues, Thurs, Fri 5:00-5:45pm
• Age Group 2: Tues, Thurs, Fri 5:45-6:30pm
• Senior Prep: Tues, Thurs, Fri 6:30-7:30pm
• Senior: Mon-Thurs 6:30-8:00pm & Fri 6:30-7:30pm

Swim team sign up is available on the YMCA website: https://ymcaatlanta.org. If you have any trouble or questions registering, please contact the front desk staff for assistance at 770-664-1220. One change you will notice from prior seasons is now you will be billed monthly for swim team rather than paying the fee all at once. 

A parent information meeting is scheduled for Friday, August 8, at 7:00pm at the YMCA. This is for ALL returning (and new) swimmers and parents. A lot of information regarding the upcoming season will be shared at this meeting. Attached is the swimmer information sheet for this season. Please fill this out for your swimmer(s) and bring it to the meeting. 

Please pass along this information to any new swimmer who may be interested in joining the team. New swimmer evaluations will be held Friday, August 8, at 6:00-6:45pm prior to the information meeting. 

Finally, we want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Philipp and wish him all the best. He has accepted a new job and will be moving to Tennessee in August. He brought a wealth of experience and organization to the team and will be missed.
