STING parents,

We are still in need of parent volunteers for the swim meet this Saturday at the Summit Family YMCA in Newnan. Summit runs a very well organized and efficient swim meet, but we need to provide parent volunteers from our team to ensure this happens. Please consider volunteering. The signup on Swimtopia is open until Thursday night for volunteers. I appreciate the parents who have already volunteered!

Here are the volunteer needs:

Bullpen parents - need 4 more. These parents line up the swimmers for the events. 

Timers - need 6 more. These parents record the times of the swimmers. You are assigned to a lane with another volunteer. This gives you a front row seat to the entire meet. 

As a reminder, each family is requested to volunteer for at least 2 meets during the season. There are many families who have not volunteered for a meet. I am hopeful these families will step up and volunteer for this meet. I had an email from a first time volunteer parent after the East Lake meet expressing how much he enjoyed volunteering and getting to know the swimmers. The meet won't happen without the help of parents!
