STING - January update
January 4th
Happy New Year STING swimmers and families!
Below is a lot of important information and dates for the beginning of the year.
****IMPORTANT DATES****
- Saturday, January 18, at 4pm, swim meet at the East Lake Family YMCA (275 Eva Davis Way Atlanta).
- The deadline to declare your swimmer's attendance in Swimtopia is Monday, January 13, at 11:30pm. There will be no late entries.
- Parent volunteers are needed for this meet. Please register in Swimtopia.
- More details, arrival times, heat sheets, etc. will be communicated the week of the meet.
- Saturday, February 1, at 4pm, swim meet at the Summit Family YMCA (1765 GA-34 Newnan).
- YMCA Championship is Saturday, March 1 at the McCauley Aquatic Center at GA Tech.
- Swimmers in age groups 10 and younger will swim in the morning session.
- Swimmers in age groups 11 and older will swim in the afternoon session.
- Swimmers MUST have participated in at least 2 regular season meets in order to be eligible to swim in the championship.
****IMPORTANT INFORMATION****
- Regular practice schedule resumes Monday, January 6.
- The ribbons from the December meet at the Forsyth County YMCA are available for pick up. The file folder box will be out at practices next week.
- Ribbons are awarded to the top 8 finishers in each event.
- Swimmers who did not attend the holiday party, be sure to check your file folder for a small surprise.
- If you ever miss an email or can't find one, please visit the team Swimtopia site and go to "News" > "Communications". All team emails are published and saved here.
