Congratulations STING! The STING team won Saturday's swim meet versus the Carl Sanders/ Buckhead YMCA team. Many swimmers also had personal best times. Attached please find the results/times from the meet. Ribbons from the meet are available for pickup during practice this week. Ribbons are awarded for the top 8 swimmers in each event (not by heat). 

Below please find important information for upcoming swim team events: 

• The next swim meet is Saturday, December 14, at the Forsyth County YMCA at 4:00pm. Swimtopia is open to declare your swimmer's attendance for this meet. The deadline to declare attendance is Monday, December, 9, at 11:30pm. There will be no late entries. 
  • Please remember in order to be eligible to swim in the YMCA Championship meet on March 1, 2025, a swimmer MUST have participated in at least 2 regular season meets. 
• The volunteer signup is also open for the Dec 14 meet. Even though it is an away meet, volunteers from our team are still needed to assist with the meet. Each family is requested to volunteer for at least 2 meets during the season. 
• Thanksgiving week practice schedule is as follows:
  • Monday & Tuesday, Nov 25 & 26: Regular practice schedule for all practice groups. 
  • Wednesday - Friday, Nov 27-29: No practice. 
  • Regular practice schedule resumes Monday, December 1.
  • There is no need to communicate if your swimmer will not be at practice during the Thanksgiving week. 
• Save the date! Instead of practice on Friday, December 20, we will have some holiday fun at the pool with food and games from 6:00-7:30pm. More details will be communicated closer to the date. 

GroupMe is a communication tool the team uses for reminders and short messages to the team. PLEASE keep in mind this platform communicates with the entire team. If you have any questions or concerns, please address those individually with Philipp or Coach Juan Carlos.
