CONGRATULATIONS to all the swimmers who swam at GA Tech on Sunday in the championship meet! The STING came in 5th overall of the YMCA teams! Many of the swimmers recorded personal best times for their events.

An end of year party is in the works. This will be a fun time to get together and celebrate the swimmers. As soon as a date is finalized I will send that communication and a SignUp Genius to bring food. We are looking at a Friday evening in March and possibly having it at Alpharetta Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. Stay tuned for more details. 

Even though swim practice is over, your swimmer can continue swimming and improving at one of the stroke clinics offered at the YMCA. This activity requires a separate registration and the fee is not included with swim team. The clinic dates start March 4. In addition, summer swim teams are a way to stay swimming and have a great time. If you do not live in a neighborhood with a swim team, the following links are for the city teams in the area. There are STING members who are part of the City of Alpharetta and City of Milton teams. Many of the teams are already starting signups for the summer.
