Congratulations to the STING swimmers for winning Saturday’s meet against the JM Tull-Gwinnett YMCA. A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make the meet run efficiently. Ribbons will be available later in the week.

The next STING swim meet is Saturday, February 10, at 4:00pm at our Alpharetta YMCA. This meet was originally scheduled to be an away meet. However, because of a scheduling conflict we will be hosting the meet at our Alpharetta YMCA. We will be hosting swimmers and families from the Cowart Family YMCA and the Decatur Family YMCA.

Swimtopia is open to declare your swimmer's attendance at the meet and choose his/her events. The deadline to register is Monday, February 5. There will be no late entries. If you know your swimmer will not be able to attend, please mark his/her as “not attending”

Since this is a home meet we will need over 20 parent volunteers to make the meet run smoothly. Each family is requested to volunteer at least 2 times during the swim season. Please look at the available jobs and signup to help. If you have any questions regarding what the job entails, please feel free to email Emily Crenshaw ([email protected]).

Welcome Juan Carlos to the team as the new assistant coach. You may have seen him at the meet on Saturday with Coach Carlos. You will start seeing him at practices this week working with the swimmers.
